Can you relate?
Only our own understand the challenges of being a mother and a wife
a select few realize that the women who fulfill these roles were built to last
moms and wives do not have timeouts
there are no vacation leaves or sick leaves
there are no applause moments
there are no pats on the back for a job well done
there are no idle times
there is no free time
there will always be something to take care of
there will always be someone to take care of
and although you have managed to take care of the groceries, clean the house, bathe the kids, cook dinner (or maybe supervise?) for your husband, pick up house clutter, there will always be windows left open (that you will go back to close); doors that will not be properly locked (that you just have to check); the favorite shirt that needs pressing for tomorrow (that you need to look for)…..the lights you will forget to close….the food you have to make sure you have for tomorrow’s breakfast..
there are no excuses and lastly.. there is no giving up….
