Do you know that I have been blogging for two years now? I missed my anniversary as I confirmed from my old personal blog that my first ever post was created on May 30, 2005. Technically it was way back September 2004 but that doesnt count as I used to just post excerpts of songs or quotes that I loved. My then blog was entitled “Listen to me”. Appropriate right?

I must say that I was destined to become a blogger. As far back as I can remember I have been writing about my personal thoughts and experiences. I guess its my mom’s fault as she was the one who gave me my first diary. You know - the kind which has a lock to keep all your secrets safe. I accumulated these paper journals such that when I graduated from high school, I had a big boxful that unfortunately just had to be thrown away. These included my poems and short stories that I wrote. Come to think of it, I wish I didnt throw them away. I could have had record of those original writings. Oh well.

My first ever blog was created using tripod. It was very difficult to use actually but I haven’t discovered blogger at that time. When I did eventually move to blogger, I forgot about my tripod site. ChrisH then introduced me to wordpress which I have been using for the past 2 years.

I feel that I have matured as a blogger during those two years. I used to write about anything and everything. I wrote about things I now regret and things that haunt me until now.

Good thing that I have met up with other bloggers and also have attended blog events that have taught me a lot about the do’s and dont’s on blogging.

I am now a full time blogger (at least I would like to think I am) and will remain one until I am not able to type anymore.
