I have been found out! It has now come out that I am indeed what you would call… VAIN! And I have to admit I am.
Here are some of the things that prove exactly why.
I always check out my reflection in mirrors, windows, computer monitors, or any other shiny surfaces. I am very conscious about how I look and I constantly have this need to check whether hair strands are standing up and out, or whether I have flyaways, or to make sure that my face isn’t too white or too blushed. I also often check to see I do not have facial hair that is obviously showing.
I am addicted to personal care products. Because I am forever conscious, I choose my products carefully. Although I do not hesitate to try out new or not so new products for my face, skin or hair – once I find the ones that are perfect for me, I remain a loyal customer. The other thing I am addicted to is lip balm. I have lip balms in a variety of brands and a variety of sizes. You will always find me gliding on lip balm or unconsciously wetting my lips to keep them moisturized. I also have a complete collection of makeup and makeup brushes that I especially bought after doing some research. I know which foundation shades are best for my complexion, which concealer to use, what color eyeshadow to use and what color lipstick to don. I also have a big makeup toolkit that have been the envy of my friends and have been useful to us (and many others) during parties, soirees, and weddings that we have attended.
I have a healthy amount of self esteem but once or twice get depressed when I am hating my weight. My weight has always been a major concern of mine. I don’t think I will ever be not-thinking-about my weight and how I could lose just one more pound.
I am very meticulous when it comes to my underwear. I would rather buy the more expensive brands that would give me a better fit and a better feel than those I can just settle on. I love colorful underwear and lingerie that makes me feel sexy. Go figure.
I love shoes. My blog header is a definite confirmation of this. My penchant for all footwear that is pointed is a confirmation of this. I used to have 70 pairs of shoes at one time… that is until I grew up. I am still magnetized to enter shoe stores whenever I am in the mall. Oh and I believe I was the first person in the office to wear red stilettos (back when they werent this popular). If I must say it – I live in Nine West, Stuart Weitzman is my neighbor, Jimmy Choo is my playmate and Manolo Blahnik is my king.
And yes, it takes me a while to get dressed and primp for the day and I try not to leave the house without fixing myself up. Just ask ChrisH – as it is one of his frustrations. Hehe.

Yeah, I agree. Everyone has their own vanity, even boys nowadays.
Perfect fit of underwear (and expensive ones) gives you a feeling of contentment. Haha. I feel it.

I’m vain sometimes, when I feel and know that I look good in that particular hour. Pero for the most part, hindi talaga. Ewan ko ba. Actually, nung naging college lang ako talagang nagkaroon ng care sa sarili ko. You should see me when I was in high school; I look more horrible. Haha.
