Facebook has grown on me
The day I joined facebook was quite uneventful. I signed up because someone raved about it and I got curious. That was about two months ago. After creating my profile, I got bored and eventually left my account idle for weeks.
During the holidays, I happen to visit facebook again and my profile had a list of events that happened while I was gone. It was similar to the friendster’s friend update. It was from there that I discovered the applications that my sister was having fun with. They caught my attention as applications I could have fun with.
The “My fab bag” application lets you choose and buy your favorite designer handbag. You can even buy and give them to your friends. Any fashionista will definitely love to have an unlimited credit line to be able to buy a Prada, or a Kate Spade or her very own Hermes Birkin tote… even if it is all make believe.
Another application I played around with was “Wishabi“. This application takes your wish list to the highest level. Do you want a Hollywood mansion? Or maybe a BMW roadster? Or maybe a luxury cruise? How about giving a friend Jessica Alba’s gorgeous body (pre-pregnancy)? Isn’t that great?
Now there is one application that made me guffaw uncontrollably. There is an application that measures how fat you are based on your answers to their pre-defined questions.
So how fat am I?
In school, the mean kids probably called you “chub”, “chubs”, “chubby”, or “chubbers”. You indeed have the lifestyle of a chubchub, which means that you’re not doing TOO badly – you should just jog more often and cut off on the holiday gorging. Unless you’re comfortable with yourself, or something.
So how does your profile look like?
facebook is good. but so cluttered now. but there are good applications waiting to be discovered still like the ones you mentioned here. sometimes i wish though that facebook won’t be as cluttered as it is now.
fingertalks – I sort of agree and maybe that’s why I got turned off when I had to look for applications myself. It was a good thing my sis was more inclined to spend tons of time in facebook so I was able to get these apps from her.
