My diamond peel experience
Everyone knows I am kikay. One look at me and many will say… Ahh, yes you definitely are. Because I am like that, I take great effort to take care of myself and to try to look good. I am very particular with the clothes, the makeup brands, the shoes, and the skincare I buy for myself. I also make sure that my body gets a good de-stressing by getting a good massage once in a while or visit spa’s to get a quick facial.
But… this is the first time that I have experienced the diamond peel.
Diamond peel is a non-surgical method of encouraging skin renewal. This treatment uses a wand with a disposable diamond tip that propels crystal flow to the skin and also vacuums away the dirt and dead skin cells.
I had mine at the Clarity Aesthetic Center. The attendant first slathered some cream that was cool to the skin all over my face. She then wiped it off after giving my face a quick and light massage. Then she turned the machine on and I just felt this pencil-like thing on my face. Then I felt my flesh being sucked by that pencil bit by bit. It wasn’t painful at all mind you but I felt awkward at first. Since I could not see what was being done to my face, I really couldn’t tell what all the vacuuming was doing to my skin. I doubt that whatever was being removed was visible to the naked eye. After about 30 minutes, it was over. She showed me the “dirt” that was removed from my face and I saw a very small wad of cotton that was black with the dirt she said came from my face. Oooowwwws – I was tempted to challenge her.
I looked at my face and it was red and raw (or at least that’s how it felt). But my skin felt lighter and somehow cleaner. I was told to ensure I put on sunblock so that my skin does not get sun-damaged.
About three days later, I finally noticed the difference. My skin had always felt thick, and slightly grainy… there was dirt on it all the time regardless how much I scrubbed it clean. Also, there used to be spots on my face that were so dry they were actually peeling. And of course I have the large pores and the white heads and black heads. Now… I cannot keep from touching my face. My skin feels so soft and smooth. My pores have been diminished to oblivion and my nose is free from white heads – as in!
So ok. I am a believer. I guess that’s why many celebrities have such good skin. I am sure many of them go through the same if not similar procedure to take care of their faces, especially since its mostly their faces that sell. Now I can have my own diamond peel session at an affordable price at the Clarity clinic.
I am totally loving my face right now… hehe.

@kimmy – Sorry for the delays in the response as things have been really hectic. My answer would be it depends. If they are prescribed by the derma then it would be alright but most of the time these are just ways to get you to buy their product. If you cant afford it then dont. Tell them you will just buy the products elsewhere. It certainly will not change the results of your DP.

tapos right now, napansin ko nagka scar ako sa face..
then after noticed ko parang may mga sugat ako sa face..
and after a day.. parang dumami pimples ko..huhuhuhu
actually 1st time ko yon.. kaya nag dadalawang isip ako kung mag papa 2 session pa ako.. nakaka confess kba magka butas butas at scar nanaman ako sa face..

hi poh…nka pag dp na po ako..for the first time..okay naman yung result..but i thought kahit hindi man lang magdisaper yung scars ko e mag minimize naman xa..but hindi pla nakak frustrate..ask ko lang po if anu maeerecomend nyu sakin for my scar face?nakaka insecure kasi i hope you understand..at saka if ever meron man remedy usually magkanu po yun?

I suggest you to use tissue oil or sunflower oil kasi it eliminates pimples scars. put oil in your face twice a day specially before going to bed para naka steady lang ung oil sa face mo. mura lang un around P180 to P500 10ml to 30ml ung tissue oil

never tried DP, but Im planning to do so this Feb.
my skin was flawless before but now its starting to get rough
dahil sa mga blemishes or pimple marks.. nakakawala ng confidnce.
before im just using moisturizer sa face ko but now i use whitening products na to lighten the blemishes.
im planning to undergo DP..

hi. i had 2 facial experience every after two weeks. hmm. mejo nabawasan naman pero hindi natanggal. sabi ng dermatologists ko balik daw ako after two weeks ulet, at kapag daw wala ng alive pimples pwede na akong i-diamond peel.. that worth 1000 wid facial na daw yun. Balitaan ko na lang kayo if wat magiging result

elow guys.. nag pa diamond peel ako last night.. im a little nervous kasi may mga comments na ung dp daw eh ang effect minsan e mas lumalbas yung pimples.. but infairness mganda ang effect sa akin.. nging fresh ung skin ko sa face at nkta ko ung effect n mas naging smooth at d oily when i woke up.. treatment last for about 20-30 minutes.. una facial muna,then vacuum 10tyms vacuum in every area,tpos may apply n malamig tpos ung last eh un n yta ung dp treatment ung may pinatnung sa face ko n instrmnt tpos sbra lamig.. yun lang guys.. tpos d n sya pwede i wash.. u can try sa lynderm spa.. email me sweet__chinita24@yahoo.com
hi… i just had my syringoma removed 4 days ago. its a benign skin tumor that grows under my eyelids…im planning to have a diamond peeling next week pag mawala na yun scabs. effective ba? nkakawala kya ng scars? or at least in my case maging less visible yun scar? usually ilan weeks yun interval after the next session?….
hi.. i had my first diamond peel last week. that time medyo marami na rin akong pimples. after the session, i felt my face was cleaner though I still have my pimples. after that the attendant suggested a sunblock that i can use and advised me to go back after 2 days for another treatment. i just wanna ask if how many sessions ba normally ang kelangan bago tuluyang maging pimple-free ang face ko? thanks

you can try muna yung mga home remedies. kung acne na yung nasa face mo,i can suggest an aspirin mask kung oily skin ka masyado. you can watch youtube and search for aspirin marks on acne and they will teach you how to use aspirin on your face. in my experience i put it on my face before bed and when i woke up nag lessen yung redness ng pimples ko and reduced the pimples also. you shouldnt worry muna about your pimple scar kung may active pimples ka pa. unahin muna yung active pimples. personally im using maxi peel on my pimples,basta everytime nagkka pimples ako im using maxi peel,that is if i can just stay home for whole 4 days. why? kasi when you use it magddark ng konti yung face mo and after in your second day it will start to peel your face,and yung pimples mo unti-unti mattuyo. I told my friend who also had pimples to use that astringent and same effect as mine,nawwala yung pimples nila,just dont forget to use moisturizer.
for pimple marks/scar effective sa akin ang amira magic cream,or any magic cream sa mga drugstore.. and to avoid pimples again avoid stress,oily/greasy food,and coffee. make sure you have a healthy diet every day and exercise for you to have a healthy skin.
hi 3x npo akong ng DP, sa loob ng 1buwan di nmn nwla yong skin figmantation ng face ko.. ok nmn sya kc naging smooth ang skin ko.. ang tanong ko is.. ano ba ang dapat e maintain o e apply sa face pra ma maintain o di masira ang skin ng face?
