My diamond peel experience
Everyone knows I am kikay. One look at me and many will say… Ahh, yes you definitely are. Because I am like that, I take great effort to take care of myself and to try to look good. I am very particular with the clothes, the makeup brands, the shoes, and the skincare I buy for myself. I also make sure that my body gets a good de-stressing by getting a good massage once in a while or visit spa’s to get a quick facial.
But… this is the first time that I have experienced the diamond peel.
Diamond peel is a non-surgical method of encouraging skin renewal. This treatment uses a wand with a disposable diamond tip that propels crystal flow to the skin and also vacuums away the dirt and dead skin cells.
I had mine at the Clarity Aesthetic Center. The attendant first slathered some cream that was cool to the skin all over my face. She then wiped it off after giving my face a quick and light massage. Then she turned the machine on and I just felt this pencil-like thing on my face. Then I felt my flesh being sucked by that pencil bit by bit. It wasn’t painful at all mind you but I felt awkward at first. Since I could not see what was being done to my face, I really couldn’t tell what all the vacuuming was doing to my skin. I doubt that whatever was being removed was visible to the naked eye. After about 30 minutes, it was over. She showed me the “dirt” that was removed from my face and I saw a very small wad of cotton that was black with the dirt she said came from my face. Oooowwwws – I was tempted to challenge her.
I looked at my face and it was red and raw (or at least that’s how it felt). But my skin felt lighter and somehow cleaner. I was told to ensure I put on sunblock so that my skin does not get sun-damaged.
About three days later, I finally noticed the difference. My skin had always felt thick, and slightly grainy… there was dirt on it all the time regardless how much I scrubbed it clean. Also, there used to be spots on my face that were so dry they were actually peeling. And of course I have the large pores and the white heads and black heads. Now… I cannot keep from touching my face. My skin feels so soft and smooth. My pores have been diminished to oblivion and my nose is free from white heads – as in!
So ok. I am a believer. I guess that’s why many celebrities have such good skin. I am sure many of them go through the same if not similar procedure to take care of their faces, especially since its mostly their faces that sell. Now I can have my own diamond peel session at an affordable price at the Clarity clinic.
I am totally loving my face right now… hehe.

share ko lng po… i had my diamond peel kahapon.. thnx po kay ate apple.. naconvince tlga ko and di nag hesistate na itry… i was trying this maxipeel for a week ata bago ko magpa diamond peel khpon, kc ung pinsan ko nag mamaxipeel xa super kinis ng mukha nya as in,so i try it kc sobrang pagod nko mgpa prick ng mukha sa derma la nmn nangyayari sa mga scars ng dating pimples andun parin… mejo mahal nga diamond peel ung akin 1,250 sa dermastrata.PERO….. sulit nmn sobra….. sobrang di ako nagsisisi….. tama si ate apple ung mga visible pores sa ilong biglang nwwla., and ung mga scars ng dating pimples nwla.. sabi nga nung staff dun… maganda dw mgging result sakin kc maputi ako… im planning to go back 2 weeks from now.

kasi 2yrs ago nanganak ako start than nagkaroon ako ng brown spot sa face ko…Matagal ko na gusto magpadiamond peel kaya lang fren ko sabi baka daw lalo masira ang face ko kaya till now di ko pa sinusubukan,sa ngayon nag sign ako sa local facial clinic d2 sa singapore at nag pay ako ng 1,200 singapore dollar at 7 sessions yun kaso naka 3 sessions na ako wala pa rin akong makita na epek sa brown spot face ko binigyan nila ako ng Biolift cream at DNA Serum Vital ginagamit ko morning and night time…Ang laki laki na nagagastos ko kasi gusto ko lang talga maremove ang brown spot face ko and my husband very supportive sa akin kaya talaga naaasar na ako kasi di ko talga nakikita na may epek ,at save po ba sa buntis ang magpadiamond peel?Plssssssssss help naman

hi mika,, D.P is worth 1,000 and up.. depends upon the clinic or facial center,.
baka naman mejo deep ung pagka brown spot mo, kasi u can see the result
of diamond peel after the session or sometimes the day after.. some of the spots
will fade, but still it depends upon the case ng mga brown spots, kasi it removes the
upper layer (dead skin cells) of the face..try this mike GREEN PAPAYA (FRUIT) or even
a ripe PAPAYA,, ung fresh peel na papaya then kunin mo pinagbalatan , glide it on ur face,,
for 15mins morning and night.even the pineapple peel will do…i assure u, those brown spots will fade.. or if u have aloe vera put it on
overnight,(yung inner layer) has the same process of removing dead skin cells to diamond peel!

Hi. i just read ur blog and all the comments. It was nice kc before I had my diamond peel, I got the conviction to go on with the treatment. I had mine last Sunday sa LFI, i am not satisfied kc i think wlang nangyari sa face q. i would look for another skin clinic that would give me more satisfying results <> how often should i have my dp? thanks and more power..

ok im back ahahaha, maxado n kc ako natuwa s result, some of my scars have vanish and some are just lighten up. meron sa SM the block 650php DP na with facial p, sulit tlga, so im going back there sa nov 25.
The result… im Happy and i think its 10% better than before. So guys dont expect agad to see positive result, imagine years of puyat and stress and with just a magical one day Dp ok n agad, D sya gnun. It will also takes time to recover. Lahat ng tao my pag asa, need lang ntn to be patience and understand the situation.. Wag kau matakot sa DP, mas sensitive po skin ko s inyo promise. Im half spanish and half irish no bleed of filipino but im here in the philippines. Im also a former model ng mossimo bikini summit 2004. D me nag yyabng pero im just telling you guys na kht pa gaano p kanipis skin nyo DP is good and suites for everyone,,My redness lng siguro ng mas matagal compare s mga normal skin. I took me 1week ata bago nwala ung redness kaya d p ako nag uupdate.
Here’s what im using after DP, I use to have a very oily skin!!!! oh my syang ang gwapoo kung nag mmantika nmn ang mukha! The best way to fight oily skin is Aloe vera! yup ung natural na aloevera pintasin nyo then open nyo tpos ung white liquid pahid nyo s face nyo,, live it overnight and in morning bago maligo. Trust me kht un lng pimple at oilyness m rereduce in just Seven days! ehehe parang commercial! Aloe vera is expensive s other country. try nyo i youtube or kunting research sa aloevera. Trust me guys aloe vera is the food for the skin.
I also use cocoa butter for im not recommending this kc its quite expensive pero it help to improve scars and nag pptans sya ng skin naturaly, ( maputi po kc ako i need to look tan to be look hot. heeheh)
Wag sana isipin mayabang me i just sharing my life for who i am and what i do to acne and scars.
Start n kau mag Dp but dont expect to have it with 1 session ok? We are old enough to take care of our skin kya its worth expending din. And stop using any creams, moiztorizer, or kht anung liquid like eskinol. Magging chemicaly active lng skin nyo, Aloe Vera lng solve n yan Take my word for it.

elo guys =) di po ako sa clarity nag p dp pero medyo malapit lng dun, that time kc nag cconvas me ng murang dp sa labas ng price list nila 800 pero if you guys ask my promo sila n 650 with facial pa. Check nyo its worth tlga pero sikret muna ung name heheh =p
And nagkaroon ako ng redness kc tlgng hyper sensitve ung skin ko sobrang nipiss tlga, And dahil n din siguro sa facial kya ( ung pricking sa mga blackheads and pimples). Pero kc lalake me kya d ko m distinguish bka un ung sinasbe ng mga babae na ngging rosy ung face nila and bloom sila after ng Dp. D ko lng tlga alam baka gnun un heheheh.
Excited n ako s 2nd dp ko, kya kau guys try nyo n din. Kahit iba p mga skin type natin Dp suite for use. Ung pinaka mabalis n pang tanggal ng sever scarring is Derma Roller which is 30k ung mga nakikita ko for 6 session. Sa clarity meron sila brochure dun, And un din advice ng dr. dun un ung latest ngyun for scarring. Nag p consult din kc ako for 400pesos. ( sa clarity ito ah pero ung dp d sakanila, pero ok din dun for sure)

Pa Dp n kau and share your thoughts din =) kung g2 nyo ng cute sa pimples at oilyness, aloe vera is the key! kung g2 nyo mag paputi hmmm glad we met? joke d ko lam bsta s pang p tan cocoa butter.
Avoid sodas, to much sugar, mga oill foods and junkfoods, stress and pollution. Going to gym also helps you look more charismatic and much younger, Investment din tlga need nga face and body ntn and proper diet. Mag simula muna tau sa Simple Dp then maybe next week going to the nearest gym for 1-2hours exercise for about 3 times aweek, for the 2nd week try nmn ntn mag sleep ng maaga and avoid stress. The idea is kya natin ito bsta wag ntn biglain mga sarili ntn, Mpressure lng tau which will lead to katamaran. Take it 1 at the time para mka pag adjust din ung lifestyle ntn at schedule. =)

last night i have visited MENDEZ (Starmall edsa) and CLARITY (Shangrila edsa) just to observe and compare the two.. and i’ve decided.. sa Clarity na ko mag papa dp. ibang iba ang ambiance and very professional compared to the former (na ang katapat eh mga tyangge na sobrang ingay.)
i’m just waiting for my pimples to dry and heal by themselves before i undergo the procedure kasi according to the girl from Clarity, they will pass the area of the face having pimples, so ive decided to let them heal first, para SULIT.
1000 per session sa Clarity and sa Mendez ay 1500. i’m really excited, =)

Nag down kc itong website n2, goodluck sa 1st DP mo, if light scarring lang yan makikita mo improvements pero if severe, medyo malabo… nka 3 dp n ako since oct. d2 pa din un mga experience ko dati, read nyo nlng. all in all 45% un improvement sa face koh, Ung mga light scars wala na pero ung mga ice pick at rolling andun padin pero d n ganun k lalim, Try mo samhan ng Chemical peel or kht anu peel bago p DP, Twice ang result nun, AT dpt derma dr tlga ung ggwa. Lahat tayo nag titipid sa pera, pero Dont expect high improvements sa Low profile na ggwa. un lng =)

ei guyz, palagay nyo ba effective din ba yung dp for chicken pox scars? i just have my chickenpox two weeks ago. i took zovirax (for fast healing) and the scars are still in my face. i will wait until one month, and if the scars will still be in my face….feeling ko, dapat magpa derma na rin ako. yung dalawang na prick ko, mdyo malalim sya…kaya nga depress ako ngayon eh kasi sobrang oily na nga ng mukha ko, then, lagi pang pinipimples, then nadagdagan pa ng chicken pox….grabeee….im so desperate na talaga…
