Being fashionable does not come cheap
I used to believe that. Many women magazines tell us in detail how a dress, earrings, a pair of shoes will cost us if we covet it enough. Others even lay pieces side by side comparing their prices, where one would have an exorbitant price tag while the other considerably lower. So we zoom in on the tag with less zeroes thinking were getting a great deal.
Sigh. A few days later, we realize our mistake. The price was not cheap, it was cheaper but not cheap.
A lot of women have similar dilemmas but can we really blame them? We are hot wired to be attracted to beautiful things and things that make us beautiful.
Imagine the joy you feel, in instances where there are truly good finds, or you discover a quaint store that sells everything you like at an affordable price, or maybe like me, find this little table in the center of a local Sunday market, filled with gorgeous trinkets that catch your eyes.
I hesitated to make a purchase because I kept thinking about how the prices of commodities have all gone up and how I should save every cent I have. But then the actual price overwhelmed me that I just had to reach out. Sorry, I was weak. I gave in. And now I am beautiful – HAHA.
See how gorgeous and inexpensive these are: wooden accessories sold at the Moonwalk Village Sunday Market at Php100 each. Isn’t life just great?
