A couple of days ago, someone asked me for a digital photo. I said sure! I was expecting it would take me a total of 5 minutes to get one and send it off via email. Especially since my OC self has all my digital pictures grouped and organized in my PC and even backed up in CDs and an external HD. All I have to do is pick one.
Several hours later, I was still looking. A day later, I was still looking. I browsed and re-browsed all my picture folders, and backup copies. I even asked hubby to look through his collection. But our search turned up nothing.
That can’t be possible! I simply cannot – NOT – have a single recent picture of myself, where I am not part of a group or duo. It appears though that I do, I mean don’t have one. The only self portrait I possess is one taken at the Kodak Gallery at Glorietta Mall that was cut to a size 2×2. Go figure. Finally, I had to settle on a photo taken about a year ago at a blogger’s event.
Its funny. I realized that amidst my tons of photos of food, restaurants, places, people, my kids, the house, the mall… I do not have one single photo of myself taken for the past 3 months. I do not think I am camera shy after all – or maybe I am.

Like, I have over 2 thousand photos, I guess, and clicked 20,000+++ x with my dSLR, I think I have very few ones (if any) where I am the only one (or do I really have a solo photo, in the first place? lemme check it out! lols!). Like you, the only photo I have is the one I got for my company ID last June.
Ironic! Maybe I should pose infront of the camera too!
