The fitting room
I hate fitting rooms. At least those that our local malls, stores, and department stores have. Some clothing stores here even have the nerve to actually NOT have one. Imagine having to try out a dress behind some flimsy curtain, sharing space with ceiling high stacks of the store’s inventory. It would likely be a miracle that you get a full length mirror in these places.

I wonder why stores don’t put much attention to fitting rooms. They either have too few that people have to line up outside, too small or cramped that people end up sweating while they’re trying on stuff, too bare – no hooks for your bags or hangers or mirrors, too old that there are no more working locks on the doors or the velcro on the curtains don’t hold anymore. Its frustrating really and results in a nightmare when you are crazy enough to shop during a major sale.
There are stores who hang up numbers outside your cubicle equal to the number of outfits you plan to try on.. and the limit would often be at 3. Imagine?! What if I had to attend several weddings and need to try on several dresses? Do I need to line up again? Oh yes, because the limit is 3. It sucks eh?
I wonder who designed those fitting rooms? Men? If a woman thought of those then it would probably be fit to the needs of the crazy shopping women. Maybe I should write an open letter? Hehe..
