Liev Schreiber in CSI Las Vegas
It just ain’t the same CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) when there is no Gil Grissom.
But Gil is taking a sabbatical and Liev Schreiber of the movie SCREAM is coming in to take his place.
I must say I am truly disappointed with this move of the show’s producers. ChrisH clearly pointed out how cool Gil really is. This is because, the show’s characters are portrayed by people who do not have the celebrity fame to show for it. This is part of which that makes CSI believable and magnetic. Watching Gil in action - you can imagine that you were actually watching real life right before your eyes.
But Liev is well known. He is an award winning actor and has been shown alongside “teen” celebrities that he is not a good choice to become part of the show. I am reminded he is an actor therefore I conclude I am just watching CSI - the TV show. Tsk tsk.
Maybe that is the reason why CSI Las Vegas is still number one for me. Although, I like the Miami and NY versions, I can certainly live without it. Now it looks as though I will have to live without CSI Las Vegas too.
Too bad for me. *Sigh.
