Its been a while since the last time I attended a party.

And this party was similar to all others. There was music, lights, food, drinks, and lots of different people.

Oh but there is something different with THIS party. Where else do you know of that holds parties and gives away boxes and boxes of Krispy Kreme? At the new Krispy Kreme branch in Greenhills!

My hubby and I arrived at what I felt was too early a time for a party. But when we reached the place, it was already packed and fellow bloggers (Abe, Noemi with Lauren and Marielle, Gail and Marc, Eric, and a new face to me - Nina) were already there. Ajay arrived a little bit later.

We said our greetings and sat down to chat and people watch. And it was interesting to people watch. Especially if the so called people you are watching are your so called husbands. It was so funny watching my own and Gail’s SO’s make a fool of themselves trying to get tons of pictures of the models and celebrities that were there for the occasion.

Now I know why they are called celebrities and I am just a mere mortal. Due to the very hot and humid weather, my hair was sticking to my face, my shirt was plastered in sweat and despite my careful application of party makeup - they surrendered to the attack of my oily skin. And I was only sitting down most of the time!

And yet, these young ‘uns were covered in layers of makeup, under the bright lights of the camera’s, mingling around doing this, doing that. But not a hair was out of place and their makeup remained intact. I wondered if they even felt the heat.

So we ended the night with 2 boxes of treats giddy at the thought of the yummies waiting inside.
