Heath Ledger is dead
I can’t believe it. Heath Ledger is dead. I was dumbfounded when I heard the news bit from Unang Hirit. I almost spilled my coffee. Ow!
But it is true, Heath Ledger, father to Michelle William’s child was found dead in his apartment in Manhattan, New York.
Although there has been no confirmed cause of death, the speculation is that his death was caused by a drug overdose. Apparently, sleeping pills were found in the room where they found his body.
Tsk tsk. Its just too sad. The gorgeous hunk can be seen in these famous movies - “Ten Things I Hate About You“, “The Patriot”, “A Knight’s Tale”, “Casanova”, and “Brokeback Mountain” - in order of my favorites.

I first heard it from Unang Hirit, too! Actually it was just the teaser news, I had to go na so di ko na napanood ung buong balita. But my exact reaction to that teaser was, “Ha?? Si Heath Ledger patay na??”. When I got to the office, I read the news and was saddened. Sigh.
Joni - Same here. It was mentioned just before the commercial break so I was like staring at the TV willing the commercials to be over so I could confirm if he really was dead or if it was a new movie or something. He is so young and such a good actor too!
dear, i too was dumbfounded, my brother broke the news too me from work and i just responded, “well, it only shows that life is so short…’. i was struck for the fact that this guy is only 20 something, just started a family and all it took was an overdose of sleeping pills - if it were really true, to end it all…. =(. btw. nice blog.
