I woke up this morning to the scene of my son holding the badminton racket I bought him a few months ago. Mind you he was indeed causing quite a racket with it as he swung it around like a sword, hitting anything in his path. That wasn’t what woke me up.
What woke me up was the sound of my adorable son talking to his yaya – “Yaya Jane asan na shuttlecock?” (“Yaya Jane, where is the shuttlecock?”)
