Mother of 2

I am a wife. I am a mother of two. I have two little boys who are too young to realize how big the world is. I have long wanted to have a dedicated blog that would house all my posts related to family, marriage, children, parenting and the like. I felt, those writings do not really appear at all compatible with posts in my other blog.

When I was young, I often fantasized about my dream wedding. Back then, I resolved to get married before I hit 25. And the drama queen that I was then, would always wail that "I’d die if I am not yet married by 25!". You see my mom got hitched at the young age of 22 and I thought that if that happened to my mom, I should do better right? Wrong!

An exciting life and several boyfriends later, I realized it wasn’t that easy to make my dream come true. Even if I was bent on that fantasy, I could not settle on just any man that I was with at 25 to decide to get married. True enough, I had gone on towards 26, and then 27, and then 28. I even got pregnant and that wasn’t even enough of a reason to marry the child’s father.

Here I am though, happily married for more than 3 years with two quite adorable although a tad handful little boys. I married late but do not regret every single minute. It was the perfect time and the perfect place. So perfect that a week or a month earlier would have led to disaster (I think).

So that’s me. And in line with my passion for blogging as evident on my other blogs - apples-pie and kubiertos, I now write about my experiences and thoughts on family, marriage, parenting and on being a mother. I am fiercely proud and protective of my children as I boast about their accomplishments and fight for their survival. With no apologies, let me say, my life is my family.
